Zoom Video Conferencing



Zoom is an easy to use video conferencing platform that works across any device. 
  1. It offers Hi Definition audio and video conferencing with up to 100 participants. 
  2. You can easily share your screen, transfer files and have group chats. 
  3. You can record meetings with a click of a button. 
  4. Schedule meetings through Outlook.

Zoom Rooms is a hardware-based solution that brings Zoom meetings into meeting rooms. 
  1. Start button to start your scheduled meetings. 
  2. Instantly start a meeting with anyone in the contact list. 
  3. Present your laptop or mobile device onto the big screens. 
  4. Make local and internal phone calls to land lines and mobile phones. 

Signing into Zoom desktop app

  1. Open the Zoom desktop app.
  2. Select Sign In


Select Sign in with ‘SSO’


Ensure company domain is set to ‘buzzproducts’, select continue.



Sign in with your office 365 email account and password.


Home

After signing in, you will see the Home tab, where you can click these options:




New Meeting
  1. Start an instant meeting. Click the downwards arrow to enable video or use your personal meeting ID (PMI) for instant meetings.
  2. Join: Join a meeting that is in progress.
  3. Schedule: Set up a a future meeting.
  4. Share Screen: Share your screen in a Zoom Room by entering in the sharing key or meeting ID.
  5. Date and time with background image: To change the background image, hover over the picture and click the camera icon.
  6. Upcoming meeting: Displays the next meeting for the current day. Add a third-party calendar service if you want to sync upcoming meetings.
            
  1. Click your profile picture for these options:
         
  1. Add a personal note.
  2. Settings: Access settings you can change in the client.
  3. Change your status to Available, Away, or Do Not Disturb.
  4. My Profile: Open the Zoom web portal to edit your profile.
  5. Help: Open the Zoom Help Center.
  6. Check for Updates: Check if Zoom is up to date.
  7. About Zoom: View the current version.
  8. Switch to Portrait View: Switch the Zoom window to portrait view if you prefer a narrower window.
  9. Sign out
